Dashboard Home Page
The home page allows you to view your calls and inspections by date.
My Calls
This section shows calls you have been assigned or for which you have workflow.
Finding Your Calls
- Press the date box. The date selector appears.
- Select the date for which you want to view your calls. Calls in the My Calls section are listed based on the following criteria:
- Today's Date: calls for which one of the following is true are listed:
- the call is assigned to you with a work order generation date earlier than or the same as today's date.
- you have a workflow item on the call other than ASSIGNED.
- Past Date: calls for which you have a workflow item on the selected date are listed.
- Future Date: calls for which all of the following are true are listed:
- the call is assigned to you.
- the call is not completed (does not have COMPLETED, CANCELLED or TRANSFERED OUT workflow).
- the call has a work order generation date equal to the selected date.
- To filter the list of items by keyword, in the
Filter items box at the top of the page, enter a keyword. The My Calls is filtered to show only calls containing the keyword. Example: You could enter Main to view all items on Main St.
Opening Calls
To open a call, locate and press the row. The Call Details page appears.
More Options
To view more options, press and hold the row (or right-click if using a mouse). A context menu appears. Press an action:
- Mark as Unread / Read: resets the read or unread status of the call. Unread calls appear in bold lettering.
- Call Details: opens the Call Details page for the call.
- Show on Custom Map: opens the call location in your custom map application. This option only appears if a custom map is configured in settings.
- Show on Google / Bing Map Map: opens the call location in the default map application you have selected in settings: Google Maps or Bing Maps.
- Custom Map Multiple Properties: allows you to select multiple properties from all items displayed on the screen and open them in your custom map application. This option only appears if a custom map is configured in settings.
- Google / Bing Map Multiple Properties: allows you to select multiple properties from all items displayed on the screen and open them in the default map application you have selected in settings: Google Maps or Bing Maps.
My Inspections
This section shows your scheduled inspections.
Finding Your Inspections
- Press the date box. The date selector appears.
- Select the date for which you want to view inspections.
- Press the area box and select the area. Your inspections scheduled for the selected date and assigned to the selected area are listed.
Tip: If you have inspections in multiple areas, you can select ALL AREAS to see your inspections for all areas.
- To filter the list of items by keyword, in the
Filter items box at the top of the page, enter a keyword. The My Inspections list is filtered to show only inspections containing the keyword. Example: You could enter Main to view all items on Main St.
Opening Inspections
To open an inspection, locate and press the row. The Task Details page for the inspection task appears.
More Options
To view more options, press and hold the row (or right-click if using a mouse). A context menu appears. Press an action:
- Task Details: opens the Task Details page for the task.
- Folder Details: opens the Folder Details page for the folder the task is associated with.
- Show on Custom Map: opens the primary address assigned to the folder the task is associated with in your custom map application. This option only appears if a custom map is configured in settings.
- Show on Google / Bing Map Map: opens the primary address assigned to the folder the task is associated with in the default map application you have selected in settings: Google Maps or Bing Maps.
- Custom Map Multiple Properties: allows you to select multiple properties from all items displayed on the screen and open them in your custom map application. This option only appears if a custom map is configured in settings.
- Google / Bing Map Multiple Properties: allows you to select multiple properties from all items displayed on the screen and open them in the default map application you have selected in settings: Google Maps or Bing Maps.
My Workgroup Calls
This section only appears if you have set Show My Workgroup Calls to Yes under Calls in Settings. The My Workgroup Calls section lists calls in workgroups you are a member of and have been granted Maintain security permissions to.
Finding Calls in Your Workgroups
- Press the date box. The date selector appears.
- Select the date for which you want to view your calls. Calls in the My Workgroup Calls section are listed based on the following criteria for the date selected:
- Today's Date or a Past Date: calls for which both of the following are true:
- the call is not in a COMPLETED state as of the date selected.
- the work order generation date is earlier than or the same as the date selected.
- Future Date: calls for which both of the following are true:
- the call is not completed (does not have COMPLETED, CANCELLED or TRANSFERED OUT workflow).
- the work order generation date is the same as the date selected.
- To filter the list of items by keyword, in the
Filter items box at the top of the My Workgroup Calls section, enter a keyword. The list is filtered to show only calls containing the keyword. Example: You could enter Main to view all items on Main St.
