Task Details

You can add and edit deficiencies, set checklist item statuses, and set task statuses. You can also print and email inspection reports.

Task Details Header

The top header section contains the following information: folder number, task status, user message, location, and task type.

  • To view details for the folder this task is assigned to, next to Folder, press the folder number link. The Folder Details page appears.
  • To view details about the location, next to Location, press the address link. The Property Details page appears.The location is the primary address on the parent folder as entered on the Properties tab of the Folder Details screen in the Tempest Prospero program. If there are multiple primary addresses or no primary address has been designated for the folder, the system will select an address assigned to the folder.
  • To view the location on a map, press the map button. The property is shown in the map application you configured on the Settings page.

Past Deficiencies

If there are past deficiencies from prior tasks and you want to mark them as met, under Past Deficiencies, next to each deficiency you want to mark as met, press Unmet. The flip switch updates to Met.

Current Deficiencies

  • To add new deficiencies:
    1. Press Add. The Add deficiencies pop-up appears.
    2. Select each deficiency to add and click Add selected.
  • To edit existing deficiencies, locate a deficiency to edit and do any of the following:
    • To add or change the description, in the box, enter your description.
    • To attach a file to the deficiency, press the camera icon . Depending on your device and its settings, you may be presented with options to complete the action or the camera application on the device may be opened automatically for you to take a picture.
    • To remove an attached file, next to the file name, press the delete icon delete.
  • To delete deficiencies, under Current Deficiencies, next to each deficiency you want to delete, press Keep. The flip switch updates to Delete.

Checklist

  • To assign statuses to checklist items, do one of the following:
    • To assign statuses to individual checklist items, under the title for each item, press the status abbreviation.

      A: ACCEPTED

      R: REJECTED

      I: INCOMPLETE

      P: P. ENG.

      N: NA

    • To assign the same status to all checklist items:
      1. Under all checklist items , press Mass set checklist statuses. The Select Status pop-up appears.
      2. Press the status you want to apply.
  • To enter comments for checklist items, under the item, press the enter comment box and enter your comment.

Task Status

To set the task status:

  1. Under Task Status, press the appropriate status.
  2. Press Save Save.

  • To view a printable inspection report, press Print. An inspection report for the task appears. If your device supports printing, print the page.
  • To send an inspection report by email:

    Note: An email template must be assigned to the folder task and email must be enabled for the folder type in the Prospero Configuration program on the Tempest desktop application. Formatting and attachments are governed by the email template.

    1. Press Email. The Add Email Addresses page appears.
    2. To add additional addresses not identified in the email template:
      1. Click Enter Email Address.
      2. In the Enter an email address box, enter the email address and click Add.
    3. Click Send Email.
  • To delete the task:
    1. Click Delete. A Confirmation message appears.
    2. Click Yes.
